Democratic nominee Kamala Harris was putting on the full dog and pony show in North Carolina over the weekend in an attempt to distract from how late the Biden-Harris administration was in responding to the devastation brought about by Hurricane Helene, her “second trip in four days to the disaster zone,” the Associated Press bellowed.

Keep in mind the storm swept through the area over a week ago, while Harris was in California fundraising with elitist Hollywood celebrities and President Joe Biden was sitting on the beach — literally.

Posing for the prerequisite photo-ops, Kamala helped pack toiletries into aid kits at one point during Saturday’s visit. It was during her first staged visit to the Southeast that Harris announced storm victims would be eligible to receive $750 from FEMA for immediate needs, which prompted actor James Woods to respond by sharing a photo of Harris wearing what appears to be a Hermès Classic H leather belt, which retails for about $770.

“When your BELT costs MORE than what your giving hurricane victims,” read a caption on the photo:

When the administration was ridiculed for giving illegal immigrants far more financial assistance than what they were offering American citizens in dire need — it should not be lost on you that the affected counties in North Carolina reportedly voted for Trump on a 5 to 1 ratio over Biden — the media-boosted response was to say that’s not all the assistance victims can expect.

Of course, their delay in responding to the natural disaster is getting a clean wash in the media… this is the AP workup that reeks of election interference:

Earlier in the week, Harris was in Georgia, where she helped distribute meals, toured the damage and consoled families hard-hit by the storm. President Joe Biden, too, visited the disaster zone. During stops over two days in the Carolinas, Florida and Georgia, Biden surveyed the damage and met with farmers whose crops have been destroyed.

The two have been vocal and visible about the government’s willingness to help, and the administration’s efforts so far include covering costs for all of the rescue and recovery efforts across the Southeast for several months as states struggle under the weight of the mass damage. […]

Trump has falsely claimed the Biden administration isn’t doing enough to help impacted people in Republican areas and has harshly criticized the response. He has, in Helene’s aftermath, espoused falsehoods about climate change, calling it “one of the great scams of all time.”

Ironically, “middle class” Kamala rocked what appeared to be a $62,000 Tiffany necklace during her recent visit to the border — while the media was only too happy to boost the stunt designed to distract from her role in allowing a virtual invasion of 10 million-plus illegal immigrants in just over three years.
