Days before he made his triumphant return to Butler, Pennsylvania where he narrowly avoided being assassinated in July, former President Donald J. Trump admitted that he doesn’t feel “safe” campaigning.

In candid remarks, the Republican nominee told Fox News contributor Kellyanne Conway that he’s in a “dangerous position” after being targeted by two gunmen who attempted to kill him since July.

On a recent episode of “Here’s the Deal with Kellyanne,” Trump answered “no” when asked by the host whether he feels “safe” during his pre-election campaign blitz.

“No, no, I don’t feel safe. It’s a dangerous business,” the former president said. “I’m in a very dangerous position and, sadly or unsadly, it’s only consequential presidents that this happens to.”

“I have a lot of enemies because I’m doing the right thing. This MAGA is a great thing because it says it better than anything anybody can say,” he told Conway. “I want to make America great again, and that’s what we’re doing, we have more support, I think, than anybody’s ever had, and I think we’re going to have a great election, we’ll see.

On July 13, Trump was speaking when sniper Thomas Matthew Crooks opened fire on the stage after being inexplicably allowed to set up in a firing position with a clear shot at the former president on a rooftop about 150 yards from him, a stunning failure that has elicited very serious questions about the Secret Service.

Crooks missed the kill shot that would have blown Trump’s head off on live television when he suddenly turned toward a chart on the Biden-Harris illegal alien invasion, with the bullet grazing his ear.

His reaction after the brush with death was as inspiring as it was iconic with a bloodied Trump defiantly raising his fist in the air and shouting “Fight! Fight! Fight” which was captured in an image so powerful that Democrats and their minions quickly moved to censor it.

Days after the sit-down with the former White House adviser, Trump returned to the Butler Farm Show grounds where he was welcomed by tens of thousands of supporters on Saturday evening, holding what will perhaps be remembered as one of his most historic events.

Trump paid tribute to slain volunteer firefighter Corey Comperatore who was shot by Crooks as he tried to protect his family, a casualty in the Democrat and media hatemongers’ war on Trump.

“Everybody knew him. Few men volunteered to run into fires, but Corey was one of those who did. He ran into fires. I spoke to people that were with this guy, would do anything, he was brave,” Trump said.

“Brave guy and he was also a protector who put his life on the line for others, and he loved doing it,” he added. “And when the sound of gunshots pierced the air on that July evening, Corey leapt into the fire one more time and his last seconds on this Earth. He threw himself on the top of his wife and daughters, he didn’t want them hurt. He threw himself. He knew what was happening. He didn’t want them hurt and he was hit hard. He was hit hard and he gave his life to shield theirs.”

Trump was also targeted again by Kamala Harris supporter Ryan Routh who was laying in wait for him with a rifle, intending to shoot him dead and record it as he played golf at Trump International Golf Club in West Palm Beach, Florida last month.
