Former President Donald Trump came out for the second time in Butler to the strains of “God Bless The U.S.A.” (which is also known as “Proud to Be an American”). This time, he was actually joined by Lee Greenwood singing the song.

People chanted his name and held signs saying, “Fight, fight, fight!” behind him.

He began as though he was picking up where he had stopped, which made everyone cheer:

“As I was saying,” he began. He mentioned how he loved the graph that saved his life, because he turned his head to look at it while explaining it, and that was why the bullet only nicked his ear as opposed to doing something far worse.

Trump said he was more determined than ever, and that the MAGA movement belonged to all Americans:

He spent a lot of time honoring Corey Comperatore, calling him a “loving and devoted father.” He also recognized David Dutch and James Copenhaver, the two men wounded. Dutch was there, and Trump thanked him for returning. Copenhaver couldn’t be there, Trump said, because he had undergone more surgery, as a result of the shooting:

The singer was opera singer Chris Macchio, who had a stunning voice.

When someone fell ill in the crowd as Trump was speaking, the crowd spontaneously broke out into “The Star-Spangled Banner.”

Trump spoke about turning around the country to make it great again.

At one point in Trump’s remarks, he invited Elon Musk to the stage. This is what real joy looks like, as Elon jumped up with excitement to be there:

“The true test of someone’s character is how they behave under fire. We had one president who couldn’t climb a flight of stairs and another who was fist-pumping after getting shot! FIGHT, FIGHT, FIGHT!” Elon said.

He also spoke about how Democrats were stomping on rights, including the First and the Second Amendments:

He encouraged people to get out everyone they could to register and vote, saying it was the most important election of our lifetime, that Trump must win to preserve the Constitution.

“Fight, fight, fight ,vote, vote, vote!” he said, as he finished speaking:

Trump wrapped up by saying we stand on the great shoulders of Pennsylvania patriots, and we would press on in honor of those great people. We will not fail, he said, “We will make American powerful again,” he said “We will make America healthy again…we will make America safe again, and we will make America great again!”
