Given that Kamala Harris was not only late in her response but was busy fundraising on the Left Coast with elitist Hollywood celebrities as the remnants of Hurricane Helene wreaked havoc on the Southeast, you’d think Team Kamalot would have left well enough alone.

Well, they did not and in the process of trying to politicize the sufferings of thousands, set themselves up for a brutal response from the Trump campaign after claiming in a dig that as president, Trump “went golfing during a hurricane, suggested nuking hurricanes, blocked disaster aid, and threw paper towels at hurricane victims.”

The Trump War Room fired back: “Kamala was too busy defrauding her San Francisco donors this weekend to notice there was a hurricane — and when she did finally show up, all she had to offer the victims was $750 and a ‘good luck.’ Kamala loves two things: herself and illegal immigrants, in that order.”

While reading from a script in Augusta, Georgia on Wednesday, Oct. 3, Harris commented on a cash disbursement as one part of a larger relief effort.

“And the federal relief and assistance that we have been providing has included FEMA providing $750 for folks who need immediate needs being met, such as food, baby formula, and the like. And you can apply now,” she announced.

The remark drew immediate criticism, given that illegal immigrants are reportedly being given far more than that after being released into the country by the millions by the Biden-Harris administration.

And then there is the largesse pouring into Ukraine, as Don Trump Jr. reminded followers on X, adding: “Enough of this madness!”

Here’s a quick sampling of responses to the story, as seen on X:
