Billionaire entrepreneur and X owner Elon Musk plans to attend a campaign rally Saturday for GOP presidential nominee Donald Trump in Butler, Pennsylvania, the city in which a gunman tried to assassinate the former president in July.

“I will be there to support!” Musk wrote in response to Trump’s post on the social media platform X about coming back to Butler.

Gunman Thomas Crooks fired several shots into an outdoor rally on July 13 in Butler, grazing Trump’s right ear and killing two rally-goers.

Musk, who also owns Tesla and SpaceX CEO, formally endorsed Trump after the assassination attempt occurred.
