Did we have an extreme rash of severe weather during the last three months that I was unaware of?

I know that we had a few tornadoes, a couple of tropical storms, but how could we go from “tremendously prepared” to flat out broke in 3 months?

October Mayorkas: We are meeting the immediate needs with the money that we have. We are expecting another hurricane hitting. We do not have the funds, FEMA does not have the funds, to make it through the season.

So they didn’t have the money … or they did and they wasted it all.
