San Jose State’s women’s volleyball team is 7-0. Can you guess how this happened?

If you guessed the team has a dude who is bigger and stronger than all the rest of the players, you’re our lucky winner!

So now — and you love to see it — we’ve got a full-on San Jose State boycott going on in women’s college volleyball:

The statement from Wyoming:

After a lengthy discussion, the University of Wyoming will not play its scheduled conference match against San José State University in the UniWyo Sports Complex on Saturday, Oct. 5. Per Mountain West Conference policy, the Conference will record the match as a forfeit and a loss for Wyoming.

Wyoming, Southern Utah, Boise State, and now Utah State have all forfeited their games against San Jose State because, honestly, these girls just don’t want to get hurt by Spartans redshirt junior Blaire Fleming.

They know if they play against a biological male their chances of injury skyrocket due to the sheer power behind those spikes.

And now corporate news outlets are being forced to report on this issue, which is great to see.

KTVU got this statement out of SJSU:

It is disappointing that our SJSU student-athletes…are being denied opportunities to compete. We are committed to supporting our student-athletes through these challenges.

Yeah, as if it’s the fault of the teams who forfeit!

Idaho’s governor chimed in on the issue:

Last week, amid a sea of supporters at the capitol in Boise, Gov. Brad Little, (R) Idaho, signed an executive order barring Boise State University from playing against trans athletes.

Looks like women’s sports is making a comeback, people!

San Jose State visits Colorado State tonight and will likely move to 8-0.
