Peeved Jim Acosta’s focus during an interview with a senior advisor to former President Donald Trump proved exactly why “you can’t take legacy media seriously.”

A rough news cycle only got worse for talking heads committed to maintaining the status quo Wednesday after Ohio Sen. J.D. Vance thoroughly shredded the premises of the left in a dominating vice presidential debate performance against Minnesota Gov. Tim Walz.

Adding that to poor response to Hurricane Helene, the mind-boggling number of convicted criminal illegal aliens that were permitted into the country and the economy crippling longshoremen strike mere weeks before Election Day, Acosta naturally chose to pester Corey Lewandowski about his pronunciation of Vice President Kamala Harris’ name.

In a clip of the appearance on “CNN Newsroom” shared by the Trump campaign, Lewandowski was sounding off on the reported more than 13,000 convicted murderers who are illegal aliens when the advisor was interrupted because he said “ka-MALA” instead of “COMMA-la.”

“The other thing, too, it’s Kamala Harris. I don’t know — is there — why do you guys say, Kamala? That is, it’s Kamala Harris. I just-” wondered the anchor who appeared dismissive of everything his guest was saying as he sought his next talking point.

While Lewandowski called out the network for “not wanting to talk about it,” Acosta contended, “Corey, we talk about immigration all the time.”

Of course, lacking substantive means to defend Harris, the anchor returned to his chosen line of attack as Lewandowski left him silenced over the facts about the border crisis. Pivoting back to questions about whether or not Trump would accept the results of the 2020 election and reports about what Haitians were or were not eating in Springfield, Ohio, he then attempted to challenge Trump’s mental acumen after the president misspoke and said North Korea instead of Iran.

Staying on course, the guest brought up the “epic failure” of the Biden-Harris administration which he faulted for failing to provide resources for the U.S. Secret Service until after the first assassination attempt on Trump, “…And it goes to show you the politics of the top of the administration, whether it’s [Homeland Security Secretary] Mayorkas, or it’s Kamala or it’s Joe Biden, Donald Trump should have additional resources.”

“Yeah, Corey, you keep saying — what is this Kamala? What is this Kamala? It’s Kamala Harris. Corey, you’ve been in this business a long time. You’re — I think you’re a mature grown-up. It’s Kamala Harris,” the host insisted. “Can you just say — can you say Kamala or you cannot say Kamala?”

When Lewandowski attempted to get Acosta to acknowledge the illegal alien murderers, the anchor ended the segment, “Yeah. Well, Corey, you know, I appreciate you coming on. Maybe we’ll have you back. Thanks for your time.”

The shameless display from Acosta led social media users to sound off about what they thought about him, his behavior, and corporate media writ large while some also offered tips on how they promote the vice president’s name that help remind voters of her policy positions.
