We here at the Louder with Crowder Dot Com website had been looking forward to the vice presidential debate since we thought it would be JD Vance vs. Kamala Harris. Once Democrats made the switch to Tim Walz, our expectations were even higher. Vance is a master debater. The only thing Walz has master debated was a horse (allegedly). Last night was such a one-sided schlacking, it may go down as the one time a VP debate changed the course of an election. There were three key points… and a lot of hilarious Jim Halpert memes.

But first, I’m not one to say I told you so; I’m not one to toot my own horn, but “toot toot.”

First came the bullsh*t “fact” check, that wasn’t a “fact” “check” at all. JD Vance was right about Haitains and the Harris-Biden immigration policies. The moderators were running cover for Walz. But Vance was so prepared for it… they had to cut his microphone to prevent him from being right.

But don’t take my word for it.

You would think after the pandemic, a Democrat would be smart enough not to go the “trust the experts” route. Not Walz! His response to the economy is that we shout shut up and trust the “experts” who agree with him and his boss. Vance had b-b-b-bars about those experts.

Governor, you say trust the experts, but those same experts for 40 years said that if we shipped our manufacturing base off to China, we’d get cheaper goods. They lied about that. … They were wrong about the idea that if we made America less self-reliant, less productive in our own nation, that it would somehow make us better off. And they were wrong about it.

And his January 6/”protecting democracy” answer… it’s the free speech, stupid!

It’s Americans casting aside lifelong friendships because of disagreements over politics. It’s big technology companies silencing their fellow citizens, and it’s Kamala Harris saying that rather than debate and persuade her fellow Americans she’d like to censor people who engage in misinformation. … I think that is a much bigger threat to democracy than anything that we’ve seen in this country in the last four years, in the last 40 years.

Now, the focus returns to Donald Trump vs. Kamala Harris, and there is one thing and one thing only Trump needs to do: Not. Take. The. Bait.

Last night was such a dominant performance it shouldn’t just be the end of debate season; it should be the last mainstream media appearance for Trump-Vance. Nothing but rallies and GOTV for the next month. Democrats and the media (but I repeat myself) know this, and they are going to do anything they can to manipulate Trump into another debate.

They’ll claim he is “scared” of Kamala. They’ll claim his not debating or talking to the press mutes his criticism of Kamala running from any microphone. They’ll go on about how much better Vance is at this than Trump is to chip away at Trump’s ego. It will be transparent. Thankfully, only someone as smart and handsome as Donald Trump would have the courage to see through all this and not take the bait.

JD Vance took the souls of both Tim Walz and the moderators last night. The case for Trump and against Kamala has been made. It’s nothing but thirty-three days of rallies and collecting votes from here on out.
