Republican presidential nominee Donald Trump slammed CBS moderator Margaret Brennan for fact checking his running mate Sen. J.D. Vance, R-Ohio., on climate change. 

“Margaret Brennan just ‘fact checked’ JD, incorrectly, on ‘Climate Change.’ When is she going to fact check Tampon Tim on all of his false statements?” Trump wrote on TRUTH Social. 

Democratic presidential nominee Kamala Harris’s running mate Minnesota Gov. Tim Walz and Vance took the stage Tuesday for the vice presidential debate. 

When both candidates were asked about climate change, Vance responded by saying that American workers needed to be invested in clean water and energy. 

After the candidates’ answers, Brennan said, “The overwhelming consensus among scientists is that the Earth’s climate is warming at an unprecedented rate.”

“Another repeat with the Fake News being unfair to the Republican Candidate, and trying to get the pathetic Democrat across the finish line. But it doesn’t matter, the Public sees it for what it is – FAKE NEWS!” Trump’s TRUTH post concluded.
