John Rourke, the CEO of Blue Line Moving, told One America News that he will be helping to hand out water filtration systems, donated by Sentry H2O, to the residents of East Palestine on October 26th.

“With the help of [Sentry H2O], we’re going to be able to provide every single home in East Palestine with the bare minimum of clean drinking water,” Rourke said.

East Palestine is where the Norfolk Southern Train carrying hazardous chemicals derailed two years ago.

While the Environmental Protection Agency says the water is clean, Rourke says that he does not “think there’s a person in East Palestine that believes” that to be true.

“We want to make sure that they have the peace of mind to know there’s a filter underneath the sink that is for sure going to provide clean drinking water,” Rourke said.

Rourke urged Republicans in the area to come and help with the distribution of the filters, because he believes these residents are being left behind.

“They’ve been left behind by this country. It’s unacceptable and we can do something about it,” Rourke argued. “It’s about making America clean again, and that includes the water in East Palestine.”

“Politicians don’t care about East Palestine because the vast majority of the people in that area vote for President Trump,” continued Rourke.

Former President Donald Trump visited East Palestine in February of 2023.

“People were chanting USA, as he drove down the street,” Rourke said. “And for a couple of minutes they forgot what happened in East Palestine. There was hope there, and that’s what President Trump brought to that town.”

Rourke says he wishes he could do more to help the community of East Palestine.

“I wish that I could provide them all with whole home systems but this, at least at the very minimum, gets them clean drinking water,” Rourke said.
