Israel continued its efforts to thin the leadership of Hezbollah, announcing Sunday that its military airstrikes in Lebanon had killed another high-ranking official in the terrorist organization.

The Israeli military said Nabil Kaouk, the deputy head of Hezbollah’s Central Council, was killed in a Saturday missile strike.

Several senior Hezbollah commanders have been killed in Israeli strikes in recent weeks, including its longtime leader Hassan Nasrallah.

Hezbollah confirmed Sunday that another top commander, Ali Karaki, died in the strike in Beirut that killed Nasrallah on Friday as Israel previously reported.
