The investigation into an assassination suspect’s son has resulted in some nauseating charges.

Oran Routh, the son of Ryan Wesley Routh – who is suspected of attempting to assassinate former President Donald Trump, is now accused in a North Carolina federal court of receiving and possessing child porn.

Investigators discovered the gut-wrenching material on September 21 as they searched the home of Oran Routh in connection to a separate incident. A search of his two-bedroom, two-bathroom rental unit turned up electronic devices including a Samsung Galaxy Note 9, on which were “hundreds of child pornography files” according to the court papers. Another Galaxy Note 9 that the suspect had on him also reportedly contained graphic material along with a messaging service that is allegedly often used to distribute illicit images of children. On the device was an alleged message asking for a preview of the pornographic content before two files were sent, allegedly from the device.

Feds claim that the material includes children as young as the age of 6 being horrifically sexually abused.
