House Oversight Chairman James Comer and Florida Democratic Rep. Jared Moskowitz on Thursday traded personal swipes over age and medication at a committee hearing.

The hearing focused on the Biden administration’s alleged “failures” over the past four years, including the ongoing border crisis.

The committee released a report on the investigation into the Biden family’s foreign business dealings last month, which claimed President Joe Biden engaged in “impeachable offenses” but did not specifically recommend impeaching him.

“I want the chairman to show the American people that we didn’t just waste millions of taxpayer dollars to issue this book report,” Moskowitz said, according to The Hill. “Mr. Chairman, the Speaker is watching, you can call for impeachment right now … Or is it just concepts of impeachment?”

The congressman also accused Republicans of wasting time throughout the entire 118th Congress, which saw the removal of former House Speaker Kevin McCarthy, and significant delays on government funding bills last year.

“[I’d] love to be a fly on the wall when you find out that Joe Biden dropped out of the presidential election and his son pled guilty for corruption,” Comer shot back.

When Moskowitz asked about the impeachment again, Comer told the Floridian “you need to take your medication and leave.”

“Mr. Chairman, you’re several decades older than me, we know who’s taking more medication,” Moskowitz responded.

The age comment is incorrect because there is only an eight years and four months age gap between the two men, who are 52 and 43 respectively.

The exchange was not the first time the pair argued during a committee hearing. Comer claimed the Florida lawmaker looked like a “Smurf” last year.
