Senator John Fetterman (D-PA) proudly threw his support behind blowing up terrorists, to the chagrin of his fellow leftists.
Fetterman has been at odds with his party in the past, usually over their lack of support for Israel and their decision to stand behind Palestinians as the war in Gaza rages on. Judging by a recent tweet, this is not a position he’s going to cave on any time soon.
I fully support efforts to target and neutralize any existential threat like Hezbollah. pic.twitter.com/dzcBb3UdA4

“I fully support efforts to target and neutralize any existential threat like Hezbollah,” he wrote in a message accompanied by a screenshot of a Reuter’s headline reading: At least 8 dead and thousands injured, including Hezbollah fighters, after pager blasts in Lebanon.
This was not a popular opinion among his leftist base:
You are such a human scumbag. Supporting acts of terrorism because you are on your knees for Israel.
I can’t wait until you’re out of office.

Attacking Hezbollah won’t work. It’ll cause more violence and suffering. We need diplomacy to end the conflict and support a ceasefire in Gaza. Let’s aim for peace and justice for all #DiplomacyNotWar
