It’s been a while since we have received what amounts to a cry for help from aging diva Bette Midler, and it comes as no surprise that Midler decided to engage in defense of the lady who dates a Kansas City Chiefs player that the NFL force feeds viewers a screenshot of every time he bends over to tie his shoe laces.

Naturally, there’s a connection to Donald Trump — after all, the sole reason Bette Midler gets out of bed each day is to hate on Trump, so we hear.

“#Trump rage-tweeting his hate for #TaylorSwift is not just dangerous, it’s illegal. He is putting out a hit on her, and we all know it,” Midler posted. “He wants his minions to do his dirty work, and you know they will. If she is hurt, he will deny that he knows anything about it, as he always does, ‘I don’t know, I haven’t heard.’ She should sue the diapers off him, and I hope she does. #SwiftiesUnite.”

There’s so much to unpack here, including the 78-year-old diva swearing loyalty to 13-year-old Swifties!

It all began when Trump took to Truth Social early Sunday to post: I HATE TAYLOR SWIFT!”

Swift recently endorsed Democratic nominee Kamala Harris, who Trump likes to refer to as “Komrade Kamala” due to her hard-left leanings that the media is desperately trying to soften. And while the media proclaimed this to be a game changer, a follow-up analysis suggests that Swift’s endorsement has failed to move the needle in any manner. After all, 13-year-olds can’t vote. At least not yet, anyway — give Democrats some time here.

More troubling is that Midler declared it “illegal” to say you dislike someone. This being the mindset of many on the left when you dislike the wrong person — and some of these people will be running our government if Americans do the inconceivable and elect the empty vessel known as Kamala in November.

Then there’s the timing of her tweet rambling about Trump “putting out a hit,” which came just as news was breaking about a second assassination attempt on the Republican nominee while he was golfing in Florida.

On that end, Midler retweeted this gem — the media accuses the right of being conspiracy mongers, but THIS gets a pass:
