As former President Donald Trump was once again shot at, it’s not hard to see how America got to this point

Trump spoke about the “highly inflammatory language” used against him, and how it is “causing me to be shot at” during an interview on the latest attempt, and many such instances are being brought back into public scrutiny.

Take, for instance, the unfortunate slip from Delegate to United States House of Representatives Stacey Plaskett (D-Virgin Islands), who in June 2023 said Trump “needs to be shot— stopped.”

Watch:

While this could be dismissed as a slip of the tongue, recent events have people suspecting it’s more of a “Freudian slip”:

As BizPac Review previously reported, other Democrats have spread incendiary messages about Trump in the past. New York Rep. Dan Goldman (D) appeared on MSNBC in 2023 saying the former president “has to be eliminated” and actually went on to apologize for his “poor choice of words” the next day.
