Rachel Vindman, the wife of de facto Democratic operative Alexander Vindman, who played a central role in the first sham impeachment of Donald Trump, took to X immediately after news broke on Sunday of a second assassination attempt on the former president was foiled to offer a vile observation.

“No ears were harmed. Carry on with your Sunday afternoon,” Mrs. Vindman posted.

The remark not only downplayed the political violence being directed at the 2024 Republican nominee but also disrespected the family of Corey Comperatore, who was killed in the first assassination attempt, as well as the two other victims who were seriously wounded.

Largely unaccomplished, Mrs. Vindman has long played on the popularity her husband gained while serving as a political class instrument to take out a sitting president to garner attention online. As for offending Comperatore’s family or anyone else for that matter, she made it clear that she could not care less.

Interestingly, a common bond the Vindmans have with the man arrested Sunday after he was spotted by the Secret Service as he lay in wait is that, according to early reports, they all support the furthering of the war in Ukraine.

Fox News host Laura Ingraham summed it up well when she posted, “This lovely specimen is the wife of chief impeachment witness against Trump Alexander Vindman. Today she mocked the 2nd attempted assassination of Donald Trump. Of course, if same had happened to Zelenskyy, she’d demand an international inquiry.”

Alexander Vindman responded to his wife’s despicable remark by backing her play, of course. The weaselly left-wing ideologue pushed back on calls to condemn his wife mocking the failed attempt on Trump’s life by attacking the former president’s supporters for being “weak.”

“I condemn you. I condemn your lack of integrity, your attacks on immigrants, your desecration of Arlington National Cemetery. Your candidate @realDonaldTrump has incited political violence for a decade. He could reduce the temperature of this election cycle. But you MAGA thrive on bullying. Fact is you are all weak.”

Adding further intrigue to the story, Rachel’s brother-in-law Eugene Vindman is running for Congress in Virginia — the tweet Alexander responded to mistook him as the candidate.

On that note, Vindman’s Republican opponent Derrick Anderson posted: “My opponent, @YVindman, has still not condemned the horrible statements by his family members and political advisors tonight. In fact, the Vindman family has actually doubled and tripled down on their hateful rhetoric and are now justifying the second failed assassination attempt on Trump. A dangerous precedent.”

“While my opponent is failing the leadership and decency test as we speak, I will always stand up to do what is right for #VA07, my home, the place that raised me. The American people must be our priority over partisan politics right now,” he added.

While Eugene Vindman did not have anything to say about his family’s antics, he did respond to Sunday’s assassination attempt without mentioning Trump’s name.

“I am deeply disturbed by yet another attempt of political violence in our nation. I am grateful that no one is hurt, and thankful for the law enforcement agents who acted bravely and swiftly in the line of duty,” he posted on X.

If there was a common theme in the responses to the story, it would likely center around the term “evil.” It becomes more and more apparent that America is up against evil forces who know no bounds when it comes to holding onto power.

Here’s a quick sampling of those responses, as seen on X:
