A widow of a New York City firefighter killed on 9/11 slammed the Biden administration about a “flippant” remark he made about “doing 9/11” when discussing the ceremony.

Joanne Barbara is the wife of Fire Department Assistant Chief Gerard A. Barbara, who died when the South Tower of the World Trade Center collapsed.

“The elected officials here today show their respect and reverence to the families on Sept. 11, or – in our president’s words – ’do 9/11,’ quite a flippant remark but please remember that the September 11th families live it every day, not just on the anniversary,” Barbara said during the ceremony.

She seemed to be referring to Biden saying he would be “doing 9/11” when discussing his travel plans with reporters, according to the New York Post.

“In conclusion, may God bless those battling post-September 11th illnesses. Our first responders and the military here and abroad. May God bless America and never forget,” Barbara concluded, per Fox News.
