Ending woke policies and making beer great again, baby!

Canadian-American beer company Molson Coors has announced it’s ditching all diversity, equity, and inclusion programs, opting for a “broader view” that skips the DEI training.

In an internal memo, the beer company says that its DEI training is complete and that it will no longer set specific “representation goals” in its hiring process.

Molson also said it will no longer participate in the Human Rights Campaign’s workplace inclusivity ranking program despite previously earning a perfect score.

From now on, Molson Coors plans to use internal metrics and employee feedback to create a “strong workplace where everyone can thrive,” ditching external validation.

Hiring by merits rather than skin color or sexual identity – imagine that!

The beer company is making this change as DEI efforts and corporate support for LGBTQ+ issues face increasing pushback.
