As the initial information about that shocking crime filtered out, I heard from three political operatives that this would reflect very badly on Kamala Harris. Their immediate reasoning is that former President Donald J. Trump and his campaign have very effectively tied “Comrade Kamala” to the increasing failures of crime and drug-infested San Francisco and California.
