A church in Mexico just unveiled a massive baby Jesus statue that has everyone doing a double-take because, well, it looks a lot like the Genesis drummer/frontman Phil Collins.

Could it be the long, wispy hair with the receding twin-peak hairline? 🤔

This giant sculpture stands just under 22 feet tall and weighs over 1,900 lb, potentially setting a new world record for the largest baby Jesus statue.

According to local priest Humberto Rodriguez, the statue, created by sculptor Roman Salvador, was only supposed to fit the space in the church in Guadalupe.

There is a space of between 26ft between the ceiling and the floor and I ordered a statue measuring 21ft, but I never intended to make it the biggest baby Jesus statue in the world.

However, Rodriguez didn’t comment on the unfortunate resemblance to a young Phil Collins, which people were quick to notice once pictures started circulating online.

Others compared the baby Jesus statue to actor Nicolas Cage.

Rodriguez has reached out to Guinness World Records to see if the statue will officially take the title for the largest baby Jesus statue. The current record-holder stands at 15.7 feet tall and weighs over 650 lb.
