The NATO spokesperson actually sent condolences to Iran over the death of their murderous president, the butcher of Tehran, in a helicopter crash yesterday morning.
Here’s the tweet:
Our condolences to the people of #Iran for the death of President Raisi, Foreign Minister Amir-Abdollahian, and others who perished in the helicopter crash.
— NATO Spokesperson Farah Dakhlallah (@NATOpress) May 20, 2024
Daklallah also retweeted this in Persian:
Iran is a terrorist state which is the OPPOSITE of everything NATO is supposed to stand for, so why in the heck would they do this?
Also, don’t they know the people of Iran are CELEBRATING the death of Raisi???
This isn’t going over well on social media. Here’s a few reponses…
As a former @NATO Assistant Secretary General, I am flabbergasted by this tweet.
This is completely inapproriate on so many levels. https://t.co/dZiuH977UR

Are you kidding me? If this is an authentic NATO spokesperson account it raises serious questions about what NATO actually stands for. I say this as someone who has supported NATO, in general.
