House Speaker Johnson joined former President Trump at the courthouse today in Manhattan, ahead of the cross examination of Michael Cohen, and made a statement to the media about this corrupt trial.

Below is Johnson’s statement:

Johnson points out that the facts of Trump’s actions were previously reviewed by officials and Trump was never charged with anything because there is no crime.

But eight years later, Johnson adds, the case has been resurrected because Trump is running for re-election.

Johnson, among others, was standing with Trump today at the courthouse. You can see him in the background when Trump was speaking this morning and you can watch that below:

“Donald Trump is joined in court by Vivek Ramaswamy, Speaker Mike Johnson, Doug Burgum, Byron Donalds, Cory Mills, Eric Trump and Lara Trump.”
