How are the anti-Trump folks doing now that President-elect Donald Trump is about to take over?
Not very well, if Michael Cohen is any evidence.
Cohen was on MSNBC’s “The Weekend” on Saturday. It was both funny and pathetic how desperate he was for a pardon from Joe Biden. Cohen claimed that Biden had an obligation to pardon him just like he pardoned his own son, Hunter Biden.

NEW: Michael Cohen begs and grovels so hard for a pardon from Biden that even MSNBC has to admonish him:
COHEN: “I would expect that the same exact pardon that he gave his son.”
SANDERS: “To be very clear, you’re not the president’s son.”

“Yeah, I’d put in the application for a presidential pardon because I believe that Joe Biden has the same responsibility to me that he had to his own son,” Cohen said.
“And I would expect that the same exact pardon that he gave his son has to go to me and to anybody else that’s on that enemies list, whether they want it or not, because I assure you, solitary confinement, where I did 51 days, sucks.”
Host Symone Sanders agreed with him on “the proverbial enemies list,” but she said Biden wasn’t going to give a pardon to anyone who has said they don’t want one. Cohen insisted the people would change their minds “when they’re sitting behind closed doors, they’re going to kick themselves in the backside for that one.”
Then Sanders said that she didn’t think that was the best way to go about getting a pardon, comparing himself to Joe Biden’s “last surviving son.”
“I’m somebody’s son also, by the way,” Cohen interjected.

“Agreed. You are somebody’s son,” she said. “But I mean, to be very clear, you’re not the president’s son.”
First, let’s note what it is Cohen is saying — the “same pardon” that his son got? You mean the free 11-year pass that he was given for anything and everything that could be a federal crime? It was bad enough that he did that for his own son, and now Cohen is asking that he dole that out to a slew of people? Biden is going to get more flack if he hands out blanket pardons covering years like he did for the First Son.
While I think Biden is very likely to pardon some people, particularly Democrats, I think Cohen might not be on that list, and that’s probably why he’s making a public pitch. I don’t think Biden gives a darn about Cohen, and as Sanders says, he doesn’t actually help himself with Biden by using the pitch of comparing himself to Biden’s son.
Finally, I’ll note that Cohen said he would leave the country if Trump were to win. Here were his bizarre remarks in September:
“I’m already working on a foreign passport with a completely different name. I don’t know how it’s going to work as far as dealing with my wife and my children. I certainly don’t want them moving to where I’m looking to go,” Cohen said.

But then he took it back and had a fit when he was trolled by people sticking turkey filters on his head.
Ok this is the funniest thing I’ve seen in a long time.
Michael Cohen is trying to explain his plans to leave the country after Trump won and is getting increasingly mad as livestream viewers add a Turkey filter to his face.pic.twitter.com/kkLuqt0Gfm

The reaction of many to Cohen’s begging was amusement. Here’s a sample from Townhall’s Larry O’Connor.
