As The Gateway Pundit reported, Dirty Special Counsel Jack Smith officially resigned from the Department of Justice after ‘completing’ his hit job on President Trump. Now, the soon-to-be 47th President is performing a victory lap by delivering one last parting shot to the disgraced lawyer.

The news of Smith’s resignation came less than one week after Smith’s top hatchet man Jay Bratt, abruptly resigned from the DOJ. A court filing DOJ officials submitted to U.S. District Judge Aileen Cannon on Saturday afternoon shows Smith quietly stepped down Friday.

It was previously reported that Smith was planning to step down and file a report before Trump was sworn in.

Early this morning at roughly 1:15 am ET, President Trump delivered a savage response to the former tormentor’s demise.

“Deranged Jack Smith was fired today by the DOJ,” Trump wrote on Truth Social. “He is a disgrace to himself, his family, and his Country.”

“After spending over $100,000,000 on the Witch Hunt against TRUMP, he left town empty handed!,” he added.

Smith’s legacy will be tyranny and a vendetta against Trump.

Corrupt US Attorney General Merrick Garland appointed Smith as special counsel to investigate whether criminal charges should be filed against Trump in November 2022, just one day after Trump announced a 2024 White House run.

Smith spent over $50 million of taxpayer money to hunt down Trump for non-crimes.

In July 2023, Jack Smith hit Trump with three additional charges in the investigation into classified documents stored at Mar-a-Lago. The superseding indictment, filed in the Southern District of Florida, falsely claimed Trump was part of a scheme to delete security footage from Mar-a-Lago.

Then, in September 2023, Trump was charged with four counts in Smith’s garbage January 6 case in DC. These were: Conspiracy to defraud the United States, conspiracy to obstruct an official proceeding, obstruction of and attempt to obstruct an official proceeding, and conspiracy against rights.

The witch hunt was indeed a total loss for Smith and now he has to watch his nemesis return to the White House in just eight days.
