A Mar-a-Lago meetup found one Big Tech billionaire’s jet parked beside the president-elect’s amid a corporate course correct and allegations against the current administration.
With days remaining before President-elect Donald Trump’s return to the White House, favorable decisions from world leaders and business executives have been credited to the “Trump Effect.” This included an about-face on leftist practices from Meta CEO Mark Zuckerberg the same week he was spotted besuited on his way to meet with the GOP leader.
The typically T-shirt-clad tech tycoon had been seen at the Palm Beach International Airport Wednesday while his private jet parked alongside Trump Force One as he’d met with the president-elect at his resort residence in Palm Beach, Florida.

“Earlier in the day, the billionaire Facebook founder met with Trump at his nearby Mar-a-Lago estate,” the New York Post had reported per a source, marking at least the second time Zuckerberg had joined the once and future commander-in-chief since the election, having previously met with him the day before Thanksgiving.
According to a statement from a Meta spokesperson to CBS News, the CEO “was grateful for the invitation to join President Trump for dinner and the opportunity to meet with members of his team about the incoming Administration.”
“Mark, obviously, he has his own interest,” Trump’s deputy chief of staff designee Stephen Miller had said in an interview with Fox News, “and he has his own company and he has his own agenda. But he’s made clear that he wants to support the national renewal of America under Trump’s leadership.”
This included a previously reported $1 million donation toward Trump’s inaugural fund matching the likes of Amazon CEO Jeff Bezos, among those the president-elect had also touted coming to meet with him since his victory over Vice President Kamala Harris.
“Jeff Bezos came, Bill Gates came, Mark Zuckerberg came, many of them came numerous times, the bankers have all come, everybody’s coming,” Trump had told the press.

In addition to the meetings after the election, Zuckerberg was said to have had a couple of phone conversations with Trump during the campaign and had referred to the GOP leader as a “badass” for his response to the July 13 assassination attempt.
Trump had heavily criticized “Zuckerbucks,” the more than $400 million the billionaire had pumped into the 2020 election, at once calling Facebook “a true Enemy of the People” and arguing the company that had censored him for more than two years after Jan. 6, 2021, “cheated in the last Election.”
However, this week the CEO announced major revisions to censorship policies at Facebook as DEI initiatives were getting scrapped and UFC President Dana White was added to Meta’s board of directors.
Furthermore, the Wednesday meeting had preceded Zuckerberg’s appearance on “The Joe Rogan Experience” podcast where he’d expressed that officials from President Joe Biden’s administration would routinely “call up our team and like scream at them and curse” to censor content about COVID.
“We just said, ‘No, we’re not going to take down humor and satire. We’re not going to take down things that are true.’ And then at some point, I guess — I don’t know — it flipped a bit,” he added, asserting that “all these different agencies and branches of government basically just like started investigating and coming after our company. It was brutal.”
