President-elect Donald Trump named Fox News contributor Leo Terrell as senior counsel to the assistant attorney general for civil rights in the Justice Department, a position being filled by Harmeet K. Dhillon.
Dhillon previously served as vice chair of the California GOP and represented California as a member of the Republican National Committee.
Trump described Terrell, a civil rights attorney and talk radio host in California, as a “highly respected civil rights attorney and political analyst.”
Terrell is the latest Fox News contributor to join Trump’s administration, which includes Tammy Bruce, the new State Department spokesperson, and Pete Hegseth, the defense secretary nominee.
