We reported earlier on some of the priceless interactions between the various presidents, vice presidents, and their spouses at the state funeral for former President Jimmy Carter.

We saw President Trump shake hands with his former VP Mike Pence, despite what can only be considered strained feelings between the two these days. There was the chilly interaction between Jill Biden and Kamala Harris, and the ridiculous reason that Michelle Obama wasn’t there. There was Joe Biden, looking out of it, as usual. George W. acknowledging Obama by belly-tapping him. Then there was the secret laugh between Barack and Trump. I was dying to know what Trump said, and betting it was about Joe Biden. Bill and Hillary Clinton were there too, looking very old and angry while avoiding the Trumps.  

When even CNN’s Jake Tapper has to refer to the interaction between Jill Biden and Kamala Harris as not typically “warm” — you know just how bad it was. 

But Trump was above it all and showed that, even as some of those folks were trying to snub him and not acknowledge him, he was the better man, upholding norms, even with the horrible people who did everything they could to attack him.

Biden Gives Eulogy at Jimmy Carter’s Funeral

But as the funeral went on there was another priceless moment that I had to share — Kamala Harris’ reaction to Barack Obama talking with Trump. Obama and Trump appeared to have a lot to say, and Obama kept engaging him. Kamala did not take it well. The look on her face was something. 

She was so ticked off, it looked like she was spitting mad. That movement of her lips was great. Her face was just a picture that said it all. This is going to be another meme classic. 

I wrote earlier how the laughter between the two presidents blew apart the “Orange Hitler” nonsense this Democratic crew had been pushing against Trump for so long. If he’s destroying democracy, why are they all sitting with him? 

She has to be so jealous that he’s going to assume power shortly and she’s going to…be stuck with Doug. I’m kind of feeling that he’s likely to face the tantrum of all time when they go home.

Both Doug and Melania looked like they wished they could be anywhere else. He kept looking up. She’s had to put up with her husband almost being killed, so this all can’t be easy for her, and I get she probably can’t feel too kindly toward any of these people who have so demonized him.
