President-elect Donald Trump has shared a scathing video compilation of Democrats defending President Joe Biden’s mental acuity despite the obvious.

On Dec. 31, Trump released a video compilation of Democrats defending Biden and his mental acuity on Truth Social. The nearly three-minute video, set to the catchy Wii theme music, features clips of prominent Democrats, including White House press secretary Karine Jean-Pierre, Department of Homeland Security (DHS) Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas and Sen. Bernie Sanders (I-VT), among others, insisting on Biden’s mental sharpness and ability to serve as president.

“Oh my gosh! He’s the president of the United States! I can’t even keep up with him,” exclaimed Jean-Pierre in the video clip, one of many times she insisted the president was sharper than ever.

First Lady Jill Biden is also featured in the compilation, telling the hosts of “The View” that the public will see “how smart he is, and the experience he has.” She further added that his age is an asset and that he is “wise, [has] wisdom [and] has experience.”

The compilation, without comment, also includes clips of data showing that 68 percent of Americans felt Biden was “too old” to serve another term as president. These clips highlight the stark contrast between public opinion and the Democrats’ defense of the president.

Crawford criticizes media for helping cover up Biden’s cognitive decline

The video comes a few days after veteran CBS News reporter Jan Crawford criticized the media for helping to cover up the president’s cognitive decline.

On Dec. 29, Crawford accused news organizations of underreporting Biden’s “obvious cognitive decline” until it became impossible to ignore during her disastrous debate against Trump last summer during an appearance on CBS‘s “Face the Nation.” Moderator Major Garrett asked Crawford about the most underreported story of 2024 and her response was direct and critical.

“Undercovered and underreported, that would be, to me, Joe Biden’s obvious cognitive decline that became undeniable in the televised debate,” she said on the Sunday morning show. She then suggested that stronger reporting on the issue could have altered the course of the election.

In the interview, Crawford also cited a Wall Street Journal report, which revealed that White House aides had been covering up Biden’s mental decline over the past four years, limiting his in-person interactions and forming a tight circle around the 82-year-old Democrat. Crawford also expressed skepticism about the claims made by Biden’s advisers that he could have beaten Trump if he had remained in the race. “Yet still, incredibly, we read in the Washington Post that his advisers are saying that he regrets that he dropped out of the race, that he thinks he could have beaten Trump,” Crawford said of Biden and his staffers during the show. “And I think that is either delusional or they’re gaslighting the American people.”
