The 2024 elections saw an increase in pro-life candidates securing victories nationwide! Especially with J.D. Vance As the Vice President, the new Trump administration is expected to prioritize rescinding pro-abortion policies from the previous administration and push forward pro-family initiatives. The more pro-life candidate is in the White House!
2. Florida’s Amendment 4 Victory
Amendment 4 was defeated in Florida, failing to gain the necessary 60% by 3% points! The proposed Florida amendment was to expand abortion access radically. With this victory, Florida continues to protect life in the womb after six weeks.
3. South Dakota Amendment G Victory
Likewise, in South Dakota, pro-lifers celebrated as Amendment G, which sought to expand abortion access, was overwhelmingly defeated by a 60-40 margin.
4. Pro-Life Volvo Commercial
Volvo stirred emotions with its heartfelt commercial emphasizing the beauty and value of life. The ad resonated with millions, reminding viewers of the preciousness of every human journey. In the ad, a first-time father reflects on his hopes and fears as he contemplates raising his daughter. Volvo’s slogan in the ad emphasizes pro-life values: “Sometimes the moments that never happen matter the most”.
5. Rachel Holt’s Country Hit, “I Was Gonna Be”
Rachel Holt’s pro-life music and YouTube video touched hearts on a national scale, sharing a powerful story about the potential and dreams of every unborn child. The music portrays the perspective of babies who have been aborted.
6. Life on Display at the Olympics
This year’s Olympic Games celebrated motherhood like never before. Multiple Olympic mothers competed and won medals, showing the world that motherhood and athletic excellence coexist. Egyptian fencer Nada Hafez even declared her unborn baby a part of her victory. She announces her pregnancy at the podium, making history as she was seven months pregnant while competing.
7. Dune Part Two’s Life-Affirming Message
The fifth highest-grossing film Dune Part Two featured a pre-born baby in a key supporting role. In the film the pre-born baby is communicating with both characters, beautifully portraying the value of life in the womb and inspiring millions of viewers.
8. Nebraska’s 12-Week Abortion Limit
Nebraska also won an abortion ballot measure battle! NE voters rejected abortion-on-demand, instead voting for a more moderate 12-week limit on abortions. This marks another step forward for the pro-life movement in protecting the unborn. The legislature in NE still hopes to pursue additional restrictions, up to a full ban.
9. Supreme Court’s Alliance for Hippocratic Medicine Decision
In a landmark decision, the Supreme Court unanimously upheld conscience protections for doctors under federal law. This ruling ensures that medical professionals cannot be forced to perform or participate in abortions against their religious or moral beliefs.
10. West Virginia Defeats Physician-Assisted Suicide
Pro-life advocates celebrated in West Virginia as voters rejected a ballot amendment to legalize physician-assisted suicide, affirming the dignity and value of life at all stages. This amendment bans doctors, health care providers, or others from participating in assisted suicide, euthanasia, or mercy killing.
