Los Angeles Mayor Karen Bass, facing criticism for traveling to Ghana before wildfires his Los Angeles, told locals after arriving back to the U.S. to visit “URL,” rather than providing a full website address.

“If you need help, emergency information, resources, and shelter is available. All of this can be found at URL,” Bass said, reading from a script during a news conference on Wednesday.

“This firestorm is the big one,” she added.

According to a New York Times report was published on Thursday, residents of Los Angeles said Bass should not have left Los Angeles to travel to Ghana. 

Bass declined to answer questions about her decision to leave the city upon her arrival back to California.
