Following the New Year’s attacks in New Orleans and Las Vegas, it has been reported that a large number of undocumented immigrants are missing.

According to Sen. Jim Banks (R-IN), ISIS-affiliated networks smuggled in dozens of illegal aliens that the government can’t track. During a Sunday interview with CNN, the senator revealed the terrifying information that some believe could result in more terror attacks on United States soil.

Watch:

“We have got to get down to the reality of the matter that we have had 400 ISIS smuggled people coming into our country that the Department of Homeland Security told us about last summer. And 50 of them, we don’t know where they are. We don’t know who they are or where they are. And we have to take that more seriously. I know President Trump will do that,” he said.

He pointed out that the incoming president “eradicated the ISIS caliphate” during his first term, a hopeful indicator for those concerned that President Joe Biden’s neglect of the southern border gave would-be terrorists the perfect cover to infiltrate America.

In the same interview, Banks praised Trump nominees Kash Patel and Pete Hegseth, who he says are going to set the intelligence communities straight and properly align their priorities to help make sure that events like New Orleans don’t occur again.
