It turns out, all that effort to make the Land of Oz “very queer” throughout Wicked’s press tour was for nothing.

Despite being propped up by its A-list cast as gay movie adaption, Wicked still didn’t meet the DEI standards apparently required to win the award for “Best Picture– Musical or Comedy at last night’s annual Golden Globes ceremony.

The Hollywood Diddy types snubbed the cast of Oz for the movie-musical, Emilia Perez, a story about a Mexican cartel leader who wants to “transition” into a woman.

Flying in the air while simultaneously belting out the vocally challenging “Defying Gravity” just doesn’t compare to masterpieces like… this…

Viewers conclude only an industry as “out of touch” as Hollywood could pass up all other nominees for a dancing brigade of Peepee and Vjayjays, let alone reward them anything with a straight face.

But the gender deluded film not only topped the category for best Musical/Comedy, it swept the night, according to the Daily Wire. Emilia Perez won “Best Non-English Language Motion Picture” and “Best Song in a Motion Picture.”

Cast member Zoe Saldaña took home the award for “Best Performance by a Female Actor in a Supporting Role,” despite the movie’s confusion on what a female is.

One social media user sarcastically called their win “history.”

“We may never see a film as dogs**t as ‘Emilia Perez’ win awards,” he wrote, describing it as a “generational delusion from voting committees that we may never see again.”

we’re actually witnessing history this awards season tbh. we may never see a film as dogshit as emilia perez win awards. this is generational delusion from voting committees that we may never see again.

“When it comes to ‘Emilia Perez,’ the disconnect between industry insiders and the people this movie claims to represent—Hispanics—is impossible to overstate,” wrote another user, noting that its creator is French.

It’s like the “Latinx” debacle all over again: non-Latino elites imposing something on Hispanics that they neither asked…

Like a typical “disconnected” celebrity, the movie’s “transgender” star took the mic during the cast’s stage time to congratulate himself.

“I have a lot of things to say,” (apparently except ‘Thank you’), announced Karla Sofía Gascón, a male actor who thinks he’s a woman.

“Maybe you can put us in jail. You can beat us up. But you never can take away our soul, our resistance, our identity. And I want to say, I won. I am who I am, not who you want me to be.”

Great. Nobody asked.
