I’ve had long talks with my family about our future … last night over dinner I told my kids about the decision that I am sharing with you today. I intend to resign as party leader, as prime minister after the party selects its next leader through a robust nationwide, competitive process. Last night, I asked the president of the liberal party to begin that process.

The country’s parliament will now be adjourned until March.

Trudeau has been the prime minister of Canada since 2015. Since that time, the country’s dollar and economy has been in sharp decline as draconian government suppression of free speech, movement, association, and private gun ownership has run rampant.

And yet Trudeau said this on Monday:

We got elected in 2015 to fight for the middle class, and that’s exactly what we’ve done over the past years.

Meanwhile, Canada in reality:

The lesson?

Putting a pretty face on communism so that suburban moms will keep voting for tyranny doesn’t mean said communism will work.

It never does.
