We can’t be sure, since his alleged presidency still has 16 days to go. But Biden’s awarding the Presidential Medal of Freedom to George Soros is likely to stand as his final insult to America.

In honoring Soros, Biden said:

“Born into a Jewish family in Hungary, George Soros escaped Nazi occupation to build a life of freedom for himself and countless others around the world,” reads the Soros citation.

Soros has been a relentless enemy of freedom throughout his adult life.

“His inspiring generosity reminds us all of our capacity and our obligation to stand up to the abuse of power and to be guardians of democracy and all people yearning to be free,” Biden said.

Soros’s “inspiring generosity” consists of giving hundreds of millions of dollars to the Democratic Party and billions to far-left causes. His vicious anti-Americanism has infected the Democratic Party, making hostility to our country, its history and its culture the Democrats’ defining feature.

Biden repeatedly thanked Soros for what he called, “all you’ve done to help this country.”

Soros hates this country, and has done nothing but work to destroy it. He has been the principal sponsor of pro-crime, anti-free enterprise, anti-free speech, anti-affordable energy initiatives in the United States and around the world. And there is every prospect that his disgraceful legacy will be carried on by his heirs.

Many have assumed that the decrepit Joe Biden didn’t really decide on this year’s Presidential Medal winners. But it doesn’t matter: Soros’s influence is universal within the Democratic Party. There is not a single influential Democrat who would dissent from honoring a vicious anti-American. The Democrats are George Soros’s party.
