The reportedly suicidal, PTSD-suffering Army soldier who blew up a Tesla Cybertruck on New Year’s Day left two letters calling for the American people to “wake up.”

The two letters allegedly from Army Green Beret Matthew Livelsberger, who on New Year’s Day killed himself and blew up the Tesla Cybertruck he was driving while it was parked outside the Trump Hotel in Las Vegas, were found on his phone, according to Las Vegas police.

In the first letter directed at “fellow servicemembers, veterans, and all Americans,” Livelsberger allegedly called for the American people to “wake up” to the fact that “we are being led by weak and reckless leadership who only serve to enrich themselves.”

But the letter quickly moved on to urging the military and U.S. military veterans to “fight to get the Dems out of the fed government and military by any means necessary.”

“Military and vets move on DC starting now,” he reportedly wrote. “Militias facilitate and augment this activity. Occupy every major road along fed buildings and the campus of fed buildings by the hundreds of thousands. Lock the highways around down with semis right after everybody gets in. Hold until the purge is complete.”

“Try peaceful means first, but be prepared to fight to get the Dems out of the fed government and military by any means necessary. They all must go and a hard reset must occur for our country to avoid collapse,” he allegedly added.

In the second letter, he reportedly complained about the so-called “1%,” about “a lack of self respect, morals, and respect for others,” about processed foods, and about America’s “culture of weakness and self enrichment perpetuated by our senior political and military leaders.”

The letter went on to, one, dispute the notion that his blowing up the Cybertruck would be an act of terrorism, and two, surprisingly call for the American people to rally around President-elect Donald Trump and incoming DOGE co-chair Elon Musk.

“This was not a terrorist attack, it was a wake up call,” he allegedly wrote. “Americans only pay attention to spectacles and violence. What better way to get my point across than a stunt with fireworks and explosives? Why did I personally do it now? I needed to cleanse my mind of the brothers I’ve lost and relieve myself of the burden of the lives I took.”

“Consider this last sunset of ‘24 and my actions the end of our sickness and a new chapter of health for our people. Rally around the Trump, Musk, Kennedy, and ride this wave to the highest hegemony for all Americans! We are second to no one,” the letter concluded.

The patriotic inclinations he displayed in the letter seemed to align with what his family has said about him:

However, according to Clark County Assistant Sheriff Dori Koren, nobody should rush to conclusions quite yet, as there’s still a treasure trove of evidence to review.

“We are intending to release those initial letters so people can understand, as best they can, what the person’s thought process was at one point in time,” he said at Friday’s presser. “However, please understand there is still a lot more content to go through, and that may change. There may be a lot more information that we recover that either explains more or shows a change in mindset at different times.”

“We still have a large volume of data to go through and a lot of content to go through. As you know, with any one of our devices, there’s thousands, if not millions, of videos, photos, documents, web history, and all of those things that need to be analyzed,” he added.

During the presser, FBI agent Spencer Evans further revealed that the bureau has acquired “strong evidence” that a separate manifesto revealed on the Shawn Ryan Podcast is likely also real and legit.
