Sam Shoemate is an intelligence analyst and retired U.S. Army officer who revealed a wild manifesto allegedly written by the Las Vegas Cybertruck bomber suggesting he was a whistleblower exposing a high-level coverup of advanced drone technology and war crimes in Afghanistan.
Appearing on the “The Shawn Ryan Show” podcast Friday, Shoemate said he received an email from Matthew Livelsberger, the Army Special Forces member who is alleged to have detonated the Tesla Cybertruck in front of the Trump Las Vegas Hotel. But Shoemate dropped another bombshell during that appearance.
According to the analyst, Iranian-made portable shoulder-fired surface-to-air missiles were smuggled into the United States through a “legal point of entry along the border and, after being made aware of this, the Secret Service allegedly altered then President-elect Donald Trump’s travels.
“We had two solid sources, one south of the border and then one from an element within our own government that confirmed independently of each other that some Iranian-made MANPADs had come across the border,” Shoemate said, adding that to his knowledge the missiles have not been recovered.

“What I do know we have done is we have apprehended the couriers on a second run of theirs, and local law enforcement got together with federal law enforcement and rolled up the safe house… and we have since identified what that issue was on the border,” he added.
The intended target of those missiles was Trump, according to Shoemate.
“Trump was still campaigning. He was flying around and there — the reports were their intent was to take down Trump’s airplane,” he told host Shawn Ryan, a former Navy SEAL and CIA contractor.
“So at the time, Secret Service switched things up a bit and, allegedly from what I’ve been told, they started flying him around on charters for a while until they could identify and kind of mitigate that threat,” Shoemate added.
In the end, Ryan insisted that 2025 is going to be a “bloody” year and urged Americans to get more involved at the local level and to call their representatives in Congress.
“Our government is failing us,” he insisted.
