Clint Eastwood may be 94 years-old, but he’s not done with Hollywood yet!
Eastwood Alleged Final Movie
When Eastwood’s new movie Juror No. 2 came out in the fall, it was widely reported that this would be the final film that the Hollywood legend would direct. This was largely confirmed in the minds of many when Eastwood did little to promote the movie. Instead, he largely left it up to the cast to go on the promotional press tour without him.
“Clint has slowed everything down in 2024 and totally stayed home for the limited rollout of his most recent movie Juror No. 2, which turned out better than anybody expected,” a longtime friend of Eastwood’s told Closer Weekly.
Juror No. 2 earned rave reviews. The New York Times reported that “if this one proves, as rumors have it, that it’s his last as a director, he is going out with a bang.”
Eastwood’s friend was quick to agree. Indeed, the friend acknowledged that “if it is indeed his final movie, he’d be going out on a high point.”
However, the friend was quick to add that Eastwood has no plans to retire just yet.

Eastwood Is ‘NOT’ Done Yet
‘”That’s the thing, even though the media has consistently declared this movie as Clint’s ‘farewell,’ Clint doesn’t have a terminal disease and isn’t ‘dying’ per se,” the source explained. “He’s just very old and made the conscious decision to slow everything down this year and step away from the promotional and marketing work around this movie.”
The friend went on to say that Eastwood has been spending more time with his family at his vacation home in Hawaii as of late.
“Clint is NOT personally saying he’s done with the business or even that he’s retired,” the source stated. “He’s taken breaks and time-outs from his career before.”
However, even the friend had to admit that “this time feels different, even if Clint himself refuses to admit it.”
That being said, the friend still has hope that Eastwood has more Hollywood projects in him.
“Nothing would make the people who love Clint in Hollywood happier than if he suddenly re-emerged with a new film or acting project,” the source concluded, “especially after people were so impressed with Juror No. 2.”

Eastwood Still Going Strong At 94
Eastwood has enjoyed a career in Hollywood that has spanned seven decades.
“I like working. That’s when I’m feeling my best. And the people around me know that,” Eastwood previously said.
Eastwood has also shown the world that age really is just a number by directing a whopping 16 movies in the last 20 years. Indeed, it can’t be denied that he’s still as on top of things behind the camera as ever. Juror #2 star Chris Messina opened up last year about what it was like to work with Eastwood.
“You think you’re going to get some tough guy and he is completely gentle and calm and fun and cracking jokes, and a lot of the crew members — [for example], the craft services woman has been with him for 22 years,” Messina told People Magazine of Eastwood back in December of last year.
“He was awesome. I really loved him,” he continued. “93 years old and completely with it, great notes, up on his feet behind the camera — just a badass. It was super inspiring.”
In the end, if anyone can still direct movies into their late 90s, it’s Eastwood. Here’s hoping we get more incredible films from him in the future!
