Rep. Thomas Massie (R-KY) joined Matt Gaetz Thursday night during the premiere of his new show on One America News.
Matt Gaetz announced he will be joining One America News Network’s primetime lineup, hosting “The Matt Gaetz Show,” airing every weeknight. This marks his next chapter after leaving Congress in November.
Gaetz resigned from Congress last month after the President tapped him to lead the Department of Justice as US Attorney General.
The RINOs and Democrats on the House Ethics Committee, however, continued harassing him and trying to keep falsified allegations of sex trafficking alive.
The DOJ investigated the allegations against Gaetz but found that they lacked credibility and exonerated Gaetz of wrongdoing. Gaetz has denied all charges of wrongdoing.
In December, the top Democratic lawmaker on the Ethics Committee leaked the contents of the investigation to the public. The Democratic lawmaker still sits on the unethical Ethics Committee.
On Thursday night, Republican Representative Thomas Massie announced on Matt’s OAN Show that he will NOT be voting for Mike Johnson for Speaker on Friday.
Matt Gaetz: If Chip Roy were asked to serve as chairman of the Rules Committee, would that be enough to get your vote for Mike Johnson?
Rep. Massie: Oh, no. You can pull all my fingernails out. You can shove bamboo up in them. You can start cutting off my fingers. I am not voting for Mike Johnson tomorrow, and you can take that to the bank. You know that Matt.
This will put Mike Johnson in a desperate position. If Democrats do not bail him out it is hard to see how Johnson is reelected Speaker.

The House of Representatives is scheduled to convene on January 3 to elect the Speaker for the upcoming term. With Republicans holding a narrow majority of 219 seats to the Democrats’ 215, Johnson can afford to lose only one Republican vote if all members are present and voting along party lines.
Massie’s firm opposition means that any additional Republican dissent could jeopardize Johnson’s re-election.
Last month, President Trump made a surprising endorsement for House Speaker Mike Johnson to be reelected, as he faces challenges from other GOP lawmakers.
Trump praised Johnson as a “good, hardworking, religious man” and the right choice to carry forward the America First agenda.
Rep. Thomas Massie says he will be voting for someone other than Mike Johnson to be speaker of the House in the next Congress.
“I respect and support President Trump, but his endorsement of Mike Johnson is going to work out about as well as his endorsement of Speaker Paul Ryan. We’ve seen Johnson partner with the democrats to send money to Ukraine, authorize spying on Americans, and blow the budget,” Massie wrote.
