From congressman to Attorney General nominee to television host, Matt Gaetz once again has the internet buzzing.
Gaetz’s appearance became a hot topic after the premiere of his One America News Network program, The Matt Gaetz Show, and people didn’t hold back. Others blew off the cosmetic criticism, claiming the state of the country is far more important than a discussion on Gaetz’s face.

Matt Gaetz debuted his show on OAN tonight.
And what is the media obsessing about? Not his policies, or his transition to media, but whether he got Botox.
Maybe focus less on his face and more on the state of the country. Is that too much to ask?pic.twitter.com/pRhYJS7Bto

Commentary quickly rolled in:
I think he looks intelligent and serious…I would believe this man even if he does look a bit like Wayne Newton

Y’all need to fire your makeup artist immediately.

Please, @mattgaetz
You’re a man… I get the whole politics and appearances thing… either get a better makeup artist or don’t wear any at all—I suggest being a man and not wearing any at all.

Makeup artist did a horrible job! Matt Gaetz looks 100% better without makeup. Please fix this

This is good. Matt is perfect in this role. He’ll know who to bring on, what questions to ask, how to explain congress, each committee, house and senate rules, and expose the bureaucracy. Government is about to change (hoping to God).

Looks like he got the same makeup artist Wilson got in Home Improvement.

I’m pretty sure your makeup artist is a democrat
