Rep. Dan Crenshaw (R-TX) rang in the new year by picking another fight on social media, this time with country music star John Rich who he derided as a “one hit wonder” which ignited a nasty fight with the singer.
On Wednesday, the Texas Republican drew first blood when he reacted to an X post shared by the singer about the heinous terrorist attack in New Orleans when a fanatic driving a truck reportedly flying an ISIS flag mowed down a crowd of revelers, killing 10 and injuring dozens.
In Rich’s post, he commented on the “pink stuff” that appeared to be on an officer’s rifle from an image shared from another user, prompting Crenshaw to start a beef that he may now wish he had avoided.
Another useless comment from a one hit wonder while families are mourning. Sit this one out John. Stop looking for attention in a time like this.

“Another useless comment from a one hit wonder while families are mourning. Sit this one out John. Stop looking for attention in a time like this,” the congressman wrote.
Rich returned fire, writing “Hey Dan, remember when you offered this one hit wonder a boat load of cash to play your rally and I told your people to kick rocks?”

Crenshaw shot back, “lol I remember when I was invited to YOUR event at UNC in September and your free concert couldn’t even draw a good crowd.”

“You mean Flagstock? Where it was invite only by the fraternities because of the threats against the event? That one? When I heard you wanted to come, I told them to just make sure you didn’t come onstage. Glad you skipped it altogether:),” Rich replied.

Rich also interreacted with X users who observed that Crenshaw was behaving like a fool.
Oh, it says everything actually.

I’m glad he did. It allows me to respond with the truth. Notice he won’t deny offering me a mountain of cash to come support him.

“Eyepatch McCain” has also been embroiled in another online quarrel with the popular MAGA influencer Catturd who he has threatened to sue after getting called out.
Yeah well your audience might want to start doubting you, because this is completely made up. Knowingly spreading slander isn’t a good look, not to mention libelous, so you might want to delete. https://t.co/QLXYZC7Tox

“Reminder: Dan Crenshaw is a massive piece of sh*t,” wrote one X user who weighed in on Crenshaw’s picking of a fight with Rich, which Catturd, whom he was fighting with last week, reposted.
