Alina Habba closed out 2024 by sending a fashionable, if not somewhat explicit, message to the outgoing president.
In an Instagram post, Habba wished everyone a happy new year with a photo of her holding her clutch above her head. On it were the letters ‘FJB’, matching the beautiful silver of her floor-length dress.

Habba was recently chosen by President-elect Donald Trump to be his Counselor to the President, a position held by Kellyanne Conway in his previous administration. Trump lauded Habba as a “tireless advocate for justice” and “unwavering in her loyalty.”
“I am pleased to announce that Alina Habba will join my White House Team as Counselor to the President,” he wrote in a Truth Social post in early December. “Alina has been a tireless advocate for justice, a fierce defender of the rule of law, and an invaluable advisor to my campaign and transition team. She has been unwavering in her loyalty and unmatched in her resolve – standing with me through numerous ‘trials,’ battles and countless days in court. Few understand the weaponization of the ‘injustice’ system better than Alina, who has fought relentlessly against the full force of lawfare with courage and an unshakable commitment to justice.”
“As a first-generation American of Middle Eastern heritage, she has become a role model for women in law and politics, most recently being named Chaldean Woman of the Year,” he continued. “Congratulations to Alina, her husband Gregg, and her three beautiful children Chloe, Luke and Parker.”
Habba recently slammed President Joe Biden for implying that Attorney General Merrick Garland was not tough enough with Trump.
“Joe Biden is playing the blame game now. He’s blaming, blaming Merrick Garland. He’s saying he wasn’t tough enough on Donald Trump. What do you make of that?” guest host Rachel Campos-Duffy asked Habba.
“Aww. He wasn’t tough enough, was it not tough enough?” Habba responded. “When we spent three and a half years with indictments, shams, and hoaxes with cases, and the man had to go all night to go campaign while other people like Joe Biden were asleep on Rehoboth Beach.”
