I think people on both sides of the aisle would agree that, from a political perspective, 2024 has been a year that will go down in history as one of the wildest, most unpredictable, and unforgettable we’ve seen in our lifetimes.

There was the disastrous June presidential debate between then-GOP presidential nominee Donald Trump and President Joe Biden, where the latter embarrassed himself for the nation to see, and sent his political party and media apologists scrambling. A few weeks later, he was essentially forced to drop out of the presidential race, endorsing his vice president, Kamala Harris, all of which put one of the most epic fails in presidential campaign history in motion.

There were also the two assassination attempts against Trump. Many have argued that it was the first one, in July, where the attempted assassin’s bullet only missed its mark thanks to an extremely fortunate turn of Trump’s head, that Trump effectively won the presidential race.

The video and images of the former POTUS rising from behind the Butler, Pennsylvania podium, bloodied and with fist held high in the air and screaming “fight, fight, fight” to his supporters in the crowd will be ones we will remember for decades to come.

But those aren’t the only images to remember from this year.

Trump’s fries/drive-thru shift at McDonald’s – which was a not-so-subtle dig at Kamala Harris’ unverifiable claims of allegedly once working at a McDonald’s, and his ride on the garbage truck after Joe Biden’s deplorable “garbage” remark about Trump voters, are also things that will be talked about for generations to come.

And now, as we head into 2025, where we’ll see Trump inaugurated on January 20th as the 47th President of the United States, Trump himself has dropped a powerful video on both Twitter/X and Truth Social in which snippets of speeches he’s given and clips of places he’s visited were put together to remind folks of how far he’s come since 2016, the success of his first four years in office, the despicable lawfare that followed, his triumphant comeback in 2024, and what’s to come once he takes office.

Instead of me describing it, watch and enjoy:

The road ahead won’t be without its bumps and spikes, for sure, but we can all rest assured that there will never be a dull moment along the journey with Trump at the wheel of the MAGAmobile.

Onward we go!
