She may be out of a job in three weeks but America hasn’t seen the last of failed Democratic presidential candidate Kamala Harris her former top adviser said.

Before she leaves Washington, the outgoing veep will have the dubious honor of presiding over the certification of President-elect Donald J. Trump, who mopped the floor with her in last month’s election, a downer of an ending.

But her fans have already been laying the groundwork for Kamala’s political comeback. On Monday, former adviser Symone Sanders-Townsend vowed that she “will be back” as at least some Democrats are eager to double down on the losing horse.

The MSNBC host made her prediction during an appearance on Monday’s edition of “Morning Joe” on the left-wing cable network insisting that Harris is still young even though she just turned 60 and is well on her way to her party’s senior citizen’s club.

“I don’t think the world has seen the last of Vice President Kamala Harris,” said Sanders. “I don’t know how she will show up again, but she is a young politician who garnered over 75 million votes in this election, and she will be back.”

Sanders, who co-hosts MSNBC’s “The Weekend” was Bernie Sanders’s national press secretary during his upstart 2016 presidential campaign, and served as Harris’ chief spokesperson and a senior advisor until 2021, leaving for the cable TV job.

The devastating election loss has led to much speculation about the soon-to-be ex-vice president’s political future with some suggesting that she’d be a shoo-in if she chose to run for governor of her home state of California, replacing Gavin Newsom in 2026.

However, Kamala reportedly still has designs for the Oval Office once Trump is gone. Earlier this month, CNN’s Edward-Isaac Dovere dished the scoop that the undisputed word salad queen could pass up the “easy layup” of replacing Newsom for a second shot at the big prize. However, this time, she would presumably have to compete in a primary process.

“What she‘s been saying to people over the last couple of weeks, donors, other supporters that she‘s been talking with is you haven‘t seen the last of me, I‘m not going quietly into the night,” he said. “Advisers, people close to her are debating about what that means. They do not want her final official act ever to be essentially certifying Donald Trump‘s win over her, especially four years after January 6th.”

“And so they look at this governor‘s race in California in 2026, and it seems to them like a layup, essentially, that she would probably clear the field or mostly clear the field, and she would get to be governor of California, which is a pretty good job, right?” Dovere asked.

“It was good enough for Ronald Reagan Arnold Schwarzenegger, Jerry Brown, and but if she does that, that means that she couldn‘t turn around and run for president again in 2028, right? She‘d need to essentially declare right away, and that is what it really comes down to because there are people close to her who say she didn‘t get a fair shot this year,” he continued.

“It wasn‘t it wasn‘t up to what she could have done, and look how well she performed, anyway, she should get to go again in 2028 and then there are ones who say, look with where things are with the Democratic party, it, she would not have a clear field, a cleared field rather in the Democratic primary and could lose the nomination and to come off of 2024 into that would be really terrible, no question,” Dovere said.

Harris likely won’t be hurting for cash while she ponders her next move. According to the Daily Mail, she could be set to land a staggering $20 million book deal for a tell-all account of her time in the Biden White House.
