It took Ford Motor Company hours to respond to an apparent hack of their official X account, and users noticed something “off” about their statement.
On Monday afternoon, the Ford X account began inexplicably posting pro-Palestine and anti-Israel messaging including “All eyes on Gaza” and “Israel is a terrorist state.” The posts were eventually removed, but the company did not release an official statement for several hours.

When they finally addressed the bizarre incident, users noticed that it didn’t contain any traces of an apology.
It took four hours for @ford to release a two-sentence statement with zero apology.

Users discussed the statement, and some claimed they needed to denounce the antisemitism in the messages or face a boycott:
They never said hacked and they never denounced the content. If @Ford doesn’t publicly denounce antisemitism and announce they terminated who posted I’m never buying another vehicle from them.

The person who posted the original comments very well might be the person posting the “apology”. Don’t count it out.

No apology. No mention of who was responsible. No mention of whether the responsible party works for Ford, and if so how high ranking the responsible party is within Ford. Will @Ford answer any questions?

“Breach” sure sure

Really Ford? Okay, then if in fact it was one of your employees, they should be FIRED!

Should have said ‘Our blue haired, nose ringed, keffiyeh wearing trans social media manager went off script. We have told him she is a naughty they/them.’

The company was founded by one of the biggest Jew haters in American history and they have never apologized. What should we expect? No jew should ever own a Ford.
