After spending an eye-popping $1 billion-plus on a failed election campaign, Vice President Kamala Harris may reportedly snag a $20 million “book deal.”

The staggering sum raised eyebrows as some began to “connect the dots” and question how it seemed enough to cover the reported debts the Harris-Walz campaign ended up with.

“Virtually the moment Kamala lost to Trump, the offers began pouring in from the publishing world for her to do the definitive book on what really went on between Joe and Kamala – what went right and what went wrong – inside the Oval Office walls, and all the ups and downs of her campaign,” a “Kamala insider,” told the Daily Mail.

“They are throwing around advance numbers in the $ 20 million range, maybe more with other publishing rights,” the source continued.

And the deal would not be out of the ordinary for the Democrats as a joint deal from Penguin Random House in 2017 reportedly gifted Barack and Michelle Obama a $65 million advance. And in 2001, Bill Clinton reportedly received a $10 million advance.

A Washington, D.C. literary agent told the Daily Mail that Harris needs to “come clean” in any memoir “in order to make a tell-all credible and believable to the publisher, the editor, and the American reading public who would be convinced to buy her book.”

“Kamala needs to forget all the campaign bulls**t that was spewed on her side, and honestly tell everything about the true nature of her relationship with Biden, and what role, if any, she played in forcing him to drop out of the race,” the agent told the outlet.

Perhaps she can also answer the burning questions about the amount of money her campaign ripped through and the reported debt at the end of the road which saw DNC staffers being unceremoniously laid off.

The reported debt and the timing of a book deal with a sizable advance set off social media users who called out book deals as another scheme to launder money.
