Washington Post columnist Jennifer Rubin took a cheap shot at supporters of President-elect Donald Trump.

In a talk with raging Trump critic George Conway on “Jen Rubin’s Green Room,” the opinion columnist wondered why ABC News would settle in Trump’s defamation lawsuit against them.

“Why would ABC, Disney, the Mouse, who has more money than God, settle with Donald Trump?” Rubin asked, referring to the network’s agreement to pay $15 million to Trump’s presidential foundation in the defamation case.

“I honestly don’t know,” Conway replied.

“I have asked why would ABC, but people ask me all the time, ‘Why is the media so mamsy pamsy?’” Rubin animatedly continued before offering up her theories and insulting Americans.

“They are convinced that if they would just move a little bit to the right, all those MAGA readers out there – now you’ll notice the contradiction there, MAGA readers,” she emphasized to audience laughter, “would pick up the Washington Post and they would have more readers.”

“What is the logical fallacy here?” Rubin continued her pontificating.

“Yes, reader. There is nothing that the Washington Post could possibly do that would have those people take out a subscription,” she declared in her pompous insult of Americans.

Her arrogant insight followed her criticism of the mainstream media for “capitulating” after Trump’s election victory. Rubin continued to denigrate his supporters by sharing that she is “disappointed” and “infuriated with the American people” for voting Trump back into office.

Rubin’s tone-deaf disdain was not well-received on social media where X users raked her over the coals.
