The wins kept coming for President-elect Donald Trump as 2024 drew to a close with a “major, crucial” victory against the Biden administration and toward securing the border.

Mere weeks remained for incumbent, lame duck President Joe Biden’s tenure and legal battles were still being waged to keep the administration in check. This included in the Lone Star State where the fight for border security marked another loss globalists and a win for national sovereignty with a judge-ordered investigation expected to “expose just how corrupt and anti-American Radical Democrats are.”

Reacting to a decision from U.S. District Judge Drew Tipton on the Biden administration’s opposition to the border wall that had expanded to selling off the materials, Trump took to Truth Social Saturday and wrote, “BREAKING: In a major, crucial WIN for America, and our National Security, a Federal Judge in Texas, based on papers we filed just a few days ago, has PROHIBITED the Biden Administration from selling any materials designated for the Border Wall, that has been wrecked by Biden and his cronies, and which I am going to rebuild in order to protect our Country from violent migrant crimes, fentanyl smuggling, sex trafficking, terror attacks, and other heinous, Nation ending disasters.”

The president-elect continued, “The Judge has also ordered an investigation into the illegal selling of the materials, which will expose just how corrupt and anti-American Radical Democrats are. I am honored to be joined in this vital case by the Great States of Texas and Missouri, and applaud Judge Drew Tipton for doing the right thing for our Country. We have to protect our Borders, and Save America. MAGA!”

As had been reported, having promptly ceased construction of the wall upon the start of his term in January 2021, Biden’s administration had gone a step further in 2023 as it began auctioning off the as yet unused materials that Congress had ordered disposed of under the National Defense Authorization Act.

Sale or donation to southern states was only permitted if it were used to repair existing portions of the wall and, when exposed by The Daily Wire, the actions had prompted a suit from Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton ahead of Trump’s own legal action.

In his own response to the victory, Paxton had posted on X Friday, “I worked closely with @realDonaldTrump to take immediate action when Biden was reportedly selling off sections of the border wall–and today, Texas blocked the Biden Administration from disposing of any further wall materials before President-elect Trump takes office.”

“This follows our major victory forcing Biden to build the wall, and we will hold his Administration accountable for illegally subverting our Nation’s border security until their very last day in power–especially where their actions are clearly motivated by a desire to thwart President-elect Trump’s immigration agenda,” added the attorney general.

Paxton had also noted that, should it be found the administration violated the court order or that the Department of Justice misrepresented to auction of border materials, “this would constitute unethical and sanctionable conduct, and the responsible parties could be held in contempt of court.”
