A look ahead at one of Vice President Kamala Harris’ final acts in office had the “QAnon Shaman” declaring it, “Evidence that God has a sense of humor.”

For years, leftists had capitalized on the breach of the U.S. Capitol to demonize now-President-elect Donald Trump and his supporters as “insurrectionists” and “threats to democracy.” Now, Jacob Chansley, the man who’d become the bison-horned wearing face of Jan. 6, 2021, couldn’t help but see the humor in Harris marking that day by certifying her own loss to Trump.

While attending Turning Point USA’s AmericaFest in Phoenix, Arizona, Breitbart News journalist Alana Mastrangelo sat down with Chansley and asked,  “How poetic is it that Vice President Kamala Harris has to certify the election results on January 6, 2025?”

“Evidence that God has a sense of humor,” he responded before adding, “It’s like Joe Scarborough just bad-mouthing Donald Trump for years and saying the Joe Biden is the best version of Joe Biden out there for years– and now he has to go kiss the ring at Mar-a-Lago…God loves poetic justice.”

After having been released early with a year cut from his sentence for a combination of good behavior and participation in programs in prison, Chansley remained on probation following his guilty plea of obstruction of an official proceeding for his actions within the Capitol on Jan. 6.

Pardons were a big part of the conversation with Chansley as well, as he spoke more to the needs of those still incarcerated than his own wishes for a clean record should Trump follow through with his promise to the J6 prisoners.

“I am hoping to God that it will get some people out of prison,” he said, adding, “I’m still on probation, so technically I’m still serving my sentence, so I’m hoping if he decides to do a blanket pardon, that’d be great. I would love to have my record clean. But…there’s still people that are suffering behind bars, and I would like to see them free.”

In addition to expectations with Trump’s return to the White House, he also sounded off on speculated preemptive blanket pardons from President Joe Biden, asserting that, “Yes,” it would make the political opponents of the GOP leader look guilty.

“Here’s the thing though…The DOJ admitted the Hunter Biden laptop in federal court as evidence, which means that the Hunter Biden laptop is real — even though we were told it was fake and it was a conspiracy theory and Russia disinformation — it’s real,” reminded Chansley. “That means that the over 400 felonies that are on there are also real, which means that the influence peddling, the bribery, the basically treasonous acts that are on that laptop, they’re real.”

He went on to challenge whether or not Biden had any authority while alleging crimes against the incumbent as he suggested, “What we are dealing with here is –it’s such a large system, that we are witnessing its downfall in very real time. They are going to try to obfuscate all of the laws that they’ve broken over the last eight to 10 years. But you can’t just commit treason and then have the treasonous president pardon everybody and then expect that to go away, at least that’s what I think.”

Sharing a sentiment widely agreed on, Chansley added, “People have to have severe legal consequences for what it is that they’ve done.”
